"Active and Passive," 2012, 8’ x 5’ x 17’ Mixed media installation.

"Active and Passive" is an interactive installation, the bottom bedding stable participants were allowed to sit on a 5' x 5' black silk pillow and watch a 10 min. video projection of black light. The stairs lead into a small colorful room that one could sit on the bed and explore the space. The small size only allowed enough room for one adult or, a few children.

Pine stud 2x4's, OSB, flat black interior house paint, orange, walnut, gold luster mold paint, plastic, glass, fabric, Battery powered camping lamp, projector, silk, Polyfil, memory foam, desk lamp, "Housebuilding for Children" by Lester Walker, Handmade wooden jewelry box made to look like a small storage crate, flat black spray paint, gold leaf, plastic yellow cup, markers, kids drawing made by two girls age 6 and 4, pencils, quilted mattress made from thrift store scrap little girl inspire fabrics, old Scooby-doo blanket and pillow set, plastic crate, 2 handmade wooden storage drawers.
